Instinct episode 12 sneak peeks: A horrific case; lessons in fatherhood
Lizzie and Dylan in this preview find the body of a young woman within a movie theater, someone dressed in steampunk clothing and left specifically in a position in which it would make a statement. It was clear that the body was brought here as opposed to being killed in that spot. It’s pretty clear here that we’re dealing with a demented person and a possible serial killer, especially when it turns out that this killer set up some sort of video message featuring the victim for everyone to see. That closes out the first sneak peek, and that very much sets the stage for whatever could be coming up next.
After watching a sneak peek this intense, it’s understandable that you may need a preview that is a little bit of a chaser. That’s what the second one is for! It’s an opportunity to see one that is a little bit lighter and more personal for Dylan and Andy as they help to look after Madison, the daughter of one of Andy’s old friends from law school. This episode serves as a chance for the two to undergo almost a trial run as parents to see whether or not they are good at it. You also get a good sense here that their parenting strategies are very much different. For example, Dylan seems to be all about having fun every second of the day with Madi. Meanwhile, Andy wants to slow things down and make sure that she does her homework. In his mind, everything doesn’t need to be structured out in some sort of intense itinerary of fun.
