SWAT season 2 premiere date hopes for Shemar Moore, cast
Unfortunately, we should kick things off here by saying that, unfortunately, there is no firm SWAT season 2 premiere date. Hopefully, that is something that will be announced over the summer but, for now, we should just be happy that there is a SWAT season 2 in the first place. CBS officially renewed the show earlier this year, which was mostly useful from the vantage point of the network not forcing us to have to wait for some extremely long period of time in order to learn the future of the series.
In terms of timeslot, the great news here is that SWAT season 2 is going to be different at all. New episodes are going to air Thursday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time once more, and hopefully, we’re going to see the show stay fairly steady in terms of getting a season 3 at some point in the future. If that happens, after all, there’s a pretty good chance that there will be a season 4 on the other side. After all, just remember here that once a show gets to around 88 episodes it reaches a syndication threshold and we know that SWAT is a show perfect for that. It features a different case virtually every week and beyond that, we know that Shemar Moore is the sort of bankable star who can front a series for a very long time.
So when will the SWAT season 2 premiere date be formally announced? Think along the lines of later this summer — more of than not, this is when CBS tends to announce almost all of their dates for the fall.
