Grey’s Anatomy season 14 finale video: Alex and Jo trapped before wedding
In this sneak preview, what you can really get more so than anything else is yet another reminder that Jo and Alex, even on their wedding day, still have a hard time getting out of their own way. They decide to break tradition and hook up right before getting married; yet, in doing so, they also find themselves trapped. This is a pretty funny preview just because it’s clear that there’s no real danger … other than of course the danger of having their wedding day completely ruined since they may not have the actual ability to tie the knot. Hopefully, someone hears Jo’s screaming and will find them before too long.
We hope that the Jolex wedding is fairly fun since this entire ceremony puts the characters in a rather tight spot. Think about it in this way — these are two characters we’ve rooted to see together for quite some time, but their wedding is now happening at the same time as Grey’s Anatomy is losing both Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw from the cast. This is putting the series in a tough spot where Jolex fans may be frustrated that their wedding is superseded in importance by April and Arizona exiting; meanwhile, April and Arizona fans may have a hard time enjoying the wedding because they’re angry about their favorites saying goodbye. We hope that the finale can find a way to cater to all fans, but without a doubt this is not going to be a particularly easy thing for them to pull off.
