Dynasty season 2 premiere date speculation for CW series
Let’s kick things off here with one simple reminder that in some ways, it’s a surprise that we are getting a chance to write about a Dynasty season 2 premiere date at all. Despite having some of the lowest ratings on the network the show is getting another season — you can think everything from CBS ownership to a great Netflix deal in part for this. We do think that this is important, and something that we wish all shows out there had — it is often so hard to gauge the true success of a series within a single year, especially since streaming is the sort of thing that can cause numbers to spike up in a positive direction in order to keep a show on the air a long time.
Now with this renewal in mind, one assumption that we are going to go ahead and make when it comes to a Dynasty season 2 is that it could end up airing on Friday nights again. We don’t see that changing with the season 1 ratings. Our hope, though, is that it is going to get a chance to premiere in the fall. One of the only ways in which a show can improve its numbers is with consistency, which is absolutely something that a series like Dynasty sorely needs. With new episodes airing from the start this coming fall in this timeslot, maybe this show can find a little more of an audience and start to build towards something big.
Whether or not Dynasty is premiering this fall is something that should be announced at the CW upfronts in the coming days. Beyond that, a specific premiere date could come as early as in the summer … provided of course that we’re getting a fall premiere.
