Is MasterChef Junior new tonight on Fox? We certainly understand the desire for more, given that we are near the end of the road for the Gordon Ramsay series. We know who the final three contestants are and with that, the tension is there more than ever for the finale.

Unfortunately, the real shame here is that there is no new episode airing tonight on Fox and you’re going to have to wait for one more week in order to check out the final episode. Why is that? Think in terms of the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as Fox is airing a special tonight all about that. Given the close proximity to the wedding day we do understand the reasoning for it.

Of course, waiting for another week to see the end of the season stinks, but for Fox, they know that they’ve got time. Today is only May 11 and with that, there is still a little bit more of May sweeps, otherwise known as when they need the ratings the most. Waiting for the finale could hurt the ratings slightly, but in the end, it probably won’t all that much.

Here’s one thing that is rather exciting that could help to make the wait a little bit easier — on Tuesday, May 15, Fox is going to air a special that is all about the road to the finale. Over the course of that, you are going to get a rather good chance in order to see Gordon Ramsay document some of his favorite moments of the season leading up to the last episodes. Think of this as the perfect way in which to build towards the finale, and also catch up here and there in the event that you missed a few episodes along the way.
