This Lucifer season 3 episode 20 sneak peek may make Lucifer sad…

Lucifer season 3 episode 20 is coming onto Fox on Monday night, and judging from the latest sneak peek alone, Lucifer’s going to be dealing with some pain in this episode.

After all, we’re not quite sure that we’ve seen Chloe and Marcus in a more passionate place in their relationship yet! In the video below (via TVLine), the two characters get very hot and heavy within the evidence room, which seems like it could be somewhat problematic since there’s all the evidence-tampering and whatnot that could be going on in there. To make matters worse, it’s not as though they are either subtle or quiet about it. If Lucifer hears/finds out about that, it could just bring some of his frustration on another level.

This entire situation touches on another huge dilemma for Tom Ellis’ character moving forward for the remainder of the season. He knows that Marcus Pierce is really Cain, and that this is a guy whose endgame really doesn’t require doing anything good for Decker. He’s probably very much aware of the fact that he needs to figure out a way to get her out of the situation, but the issue here is twofold. For starters, he is one of the reasons why all of this happened after he, effectively, pushed Chloe away. Beyond that, he also may not be able to save Chloe from this situation without coming clean about what he knows — something that he has not been inclined to do.

Yet, you have to imagine that a sense of urgency, if nothing else, could be precisely what this devil needed to kick him in the pants a little bit. This could be the most important installment of the season when it comes to propelling the story forward; if nothing else, with the title of “The Angel of San Bernardino” we’re already psyched to see just what the producers are set to bring to the table. It should be fun and, beyond that, it should be very much shocking.
