Chicago Med season 3 episode 17 spoilers: Arc of Dr. Reese’s father not over
Reese is struggling with his presence and there are many different reasons for that, with one of the biggest ones being simply that he’s not altogether capable of showing affection towards her. This isn’t so much an issue of whether or not he wants to. Instead, it’s simply more about his condition. This makes things difficult on her, just as it is to be around him due to some of his manipulations.
This upcoming episode is entitled “The Parent Trap,” which probably superficially makes you think of either the classic Disney movie or the remake, which really introduced the world to Lindsay Lohan for the first time. The synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more information as to precisely why it’s called this:
04/24/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : After a 10-year-old boy is admitted to the hospital, Dr. Manning and Dr. Halstead disagree on how to best handle the boy’s parents. Dr. Rhodes rushes to fix a heart that will be given to Dr. Reese’s estranged father (guest star Michel Gill). TV-14
Beyond the Sarah Reese story, we imagine that what is going to draw the most headlines here is the fact that, yet again, we are witnessing an extreme amount of conflict between Will and Natalie. If they continue to have so many disagreements and severe tension in their working relationship, eventually that is going to lead to greater problems in their personal one. As of late what we’re probably seeing is a strain put on them now that the honeymoon period is over — they can see each others’ flaws more and beyond that, they are working closely together and then also spending a lot of time together after hours. This can be a lot for any couple to take on at one time, but if they can make it through some of what they are dealing with now we do think that they will figure out how to be together in the long run.
