Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 19 preview: The past of McGarrett’s father comes to light

What is coming up on Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 19? Be prepared for a story that is dangerous for Adam, but at the same time also one that touches far back into the McGarrett family history. This is going to come courtesy of his father and a man who he had long hoped to arrest. This man will come to Steve McGarrett supposedly looking to atone for some of his crimes. As for whether or not that atonement is legitimate, that is a question that you should be wondering. Often bad guys don’t just turn around and change their ways unless there is some sort of further motive to selfishly get ahead.

The Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 19 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some additional insight as to what is coming up next:

“Aohe mea make i ka hewa; make no i ka mihi ole” – A hitman, Leroy Davis (Frankie Faison), McGarrett’s father failed to arrest comes to McGarrett to finally confess his crimes and admit where he buried his victims. Also, Jessie makes a dangerous decision that could ruin Adam’s life, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mixed martial arts fighter Max Holloway also guest stars.

As for the Adam storyline…

What more could really happen to this man? He grew up in hardship, he went to prison, and his life has been on the line countless times since taking the job to stop local gangs. There have been questions regarding Jessie’s loyalty, and to go along with that the one good thing that happened to him (Kono) is currently in other parts of the world chasing down a sex-trafficking ring. Basically, Adam is the personification of terrible luck and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Hopefully, it does before Ian Anthony Dale has to depart Hawaii Five-0 in order to return to his summer show Salvation.

For those who are wondering you should know this: There is no relations between Frankie Faison (who is playing the man associated with McGarrett’s father) and then Donald Faison of Scrubs fame.
