Homeland season 7 episode 8 preview: Carrie and Saul’s interrogation
So what about the story itself? Below, the Homeland season 7 episode 8 synopsis offers up some more insight when it comes to what lies ahead:
“Carrie and Saul interrogate a suspect. Wellington makes a play.”
This isn’t exactly the most-revealing synopsis in the world, but at the same time there is enough to be excited about. It features Carrie and Saul working together and given that the two parties do have a history of interesting interrogations, this is almost certainly going to fit the bill.
The promo below, for the record, asks some very big questions … including whether or not Keane will resign and if Carrie will lose her baby.
The latest ratings
For those of you who do like to see a significant dose of ratings stability with Homeland there is a lot to be happy about here at the moment. After all, this past episode ended up drawing 1,25 million viewers, which is the second most-watched episode of the entire season. Overall, season 7 is down less than 8% in live viewers from season 6, and that is especially impressive when you consider that part of it aired opposite the winter Olympics. Even though Homeland does already have the comfort of knowing that it will be coming back for another season, we do welcome the fact that it continues to perform at a high-enough level that it could stay put however long executives want it to.
