Madam Secretary season 4 episode 15 video: President Dalton’s debate

Madam Secretary season 4 episode 15 is set to be officially coming up on CBS in just a matter of one day’s time, and when this episode airs there are going to be many questions — especially in terms of President Dalton. Is he going to be able to resume his duties in the Oval Office?

At the time of the new sneak peek below, Dalton is actually not 100% sure — he is waiting to undergo all of the necessary tests. Even if he looks and feels good, that of course doesn’t necessarily mean that he is going to make his way back into office. For starters, he has to feel as though he is ready to take on the job. Based on what we are seeing right now, we’re not altogether sure that he is. The character does seem to be harboring some hesitation to get back out there in the job, and there may be a couple of reasons for that.

1. He’s been away from it for a while – We actually have not had an opportunity to see Keith Carradine, strange as that may be, for the past couple of episodes. Within that time Dalton was in recovery and given that this show mostly remains the story of Elizabeth McCord, there was not necessarily some sort of overt need to shine the light on this character for a little while.

2. What he’s coming back to is certainly challenging in its own right – When Dalton returns, he’s basically being thrown right into the fire as he has to figure out whether or not he is going to be okay with the idea of presenting the Medal of Freedom to a controversial leader. Maybe if this wasn’t the first thing that he had to do upon coming back, he would have a slightly different opinion on the subject.
