Bull season 2 episode 18 video: Michael Weatherly, Dana Delany square off
So what’s at the center of this story? Well, two powerful people going head to head in order to ensure that they each get precisely what they want. Dr. Bull is facing off with a very prolific and powerful woman named Sylvia Banner (played by Dana Delany), who just so happens to be an assistant U.S. attorney tasked with trying to take down a woman who used a fairly controversial practice in order to treat her patients. Specifically, she used an oil that she derived from marijuana, one that was also transferred across state lines. This doctor doesn’t seem to be acting or breaking the law out of malice; instead, she’s just trying to do more of what she thinks is best for her patients. The only problem with this line of thinking is that what she thinks is right and what is necessarily right in the eyes of the government are different things. Regardless of whether or not Banner thinks the woman was in the right, it is still her job to try and bring her to justice. With that in mind, that is precisely what she is going to do over the course of this episode.

See the photo above? You’ve got Delany alongside Michael Weatherly, and that may be one of the only times in which these two are smiling over the course of the episode. Who knows? Maybe the two will have a few moments of peace — Bull does try to show off the charm when he’s not in the courtroom — but there could still be some other problems that surface.
