TV Madness 2018: Outlander, NCIS: Los Angeles kick off round two!
Above, you can see our full bracket, complete with entries, their seeds, and start/end dates. Once you are within the bracket, the dates listed are when the previous poll ends and the next one begins! We’ve got a great group of shows taking part this year, with some newbies as well as others who have been a part of the tournament every single year. The voting rules are pretty simple — you can vote however often you would like on however many devices that you would like! If you are on mobile and you are having a problem seeing the poll at the bottom of the article for whatever reason, be sure to click to view the non-AMP version of the page at the bottom of the article.
In today’s edition, we are now kicking off the second round in the tournament! In one corner we’ve got a show in Outlander that completely dominated the first round. Meanwhile, NCIS: Los Angeles fought a scrappy battle to get to this point. Now, one of them has a shot of moving on from the field of sixteen to eight; while there may be an obvious favorite, we’ve learned over time that anything can still happen.
Now that we’ve set the stage, let’s get to breaking down these entries further. Voting for this round remains open until Thursday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time.
Outlander (#1 seed) – Here, we have the reigning champion of the whole tournament two times over, one that completely demolished Chicago Med to the extent where it was barely a blip on the radar. Outlander has a history of being dominant, but what’s so impressive about its fans are that they don’t ever settle for winning a single poll or getting the show some attention. They are devoted and continue to find ways to thank the cast and crew for all of their efforts. At the moment, this tournament is one way to do that while waiting for the season 4 premiere later this year.
NCIS: Los Angeles (#4 seed) – Meanwhile, the competition this time is CBS’ long-running crime procedural, a part of the greater NCIS family as well as a series that has many a devoted fan out there. This is one of those CBS shows that really does a find a way to incorporate almost every aspect of TV you could want in between comedy, action, drama, and romance. It’s currently in the midst of its ninth season, and hopefully this tournament gives the show a little bit more attention as it battles to secure a season 10 renewal a little bit later this spring.
