Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor, Child Support renewed by ABC
What’s amazing on these shows, other than Child Support (which is still somewhat new), is their longevity. This is the 27th season of Dancing with the Stars premiering this spring, and beyond that this will be season 23 of The Bachelor. That’s without even including The Bachelorette or many of the other offshoots that have come about with this series over time.

Meanwhile, America’s Funniest Home Videos is in its 29th season — this is a show that continues to be the little engine that could, even if in the YouTube era this is not anywhere near as relevant as it once was. This is now more or less just the perfect show to put on for a few laughs while you’re making Sunday dinner. Alfonso Ribeiro is the new host of the series, who recently replaced Tom Bergeron in the role not all that long ago.
So far, the only other official renewal at the moment is for the Freddie Highmore series The Good Doctor, which will be back for a second season. While there are no other official renewals as of yet, we feel pretty darn confident that you are going to get new seasons for such shows as Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, and others. Some other shows including Agents of SHIELD as well as Kevin (Probably) Saves the world are currently on the bubble. All of these decisions should officially be revealed by the time in which the upfront presentation takes place in May.
What do you think about the renewals for Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor, and others? How long do you think these shows will last? Be sure to share some of your thoughts in the comments!
