TV Madness 2018: Timeless, Good Behavior closes out round 1
Welcome to another edition of our third annual TV Madness Tournament! This is a fun annual tradition here at CarterMatt where we have some fun, engaging battles between various shows looking to make it all the way to the final round on March 28.
Above, you can see our full bracket, complete with entries, their seeds, and start/end dates. Once you are within the bracket, the dates listed are when the previous poll ends and the next one begins! We’ve got a great group of shows taking part this year, with some newbies as well as others who have been a part of the tournament every single year. The voting rules are pretty simple — you can vote however often you would like on however many devices that you would like! If you are on mobile and you are having a problem seeing the poll at the bottom of the article for whatever reason, be sure to click to view the non-AMP version of the page at the bottom of the article.
In today’s edition, we are officially making it to the end of the road! The focus this time around is on two shows in Timeless and Good Behavior that have the most loyal followings possible. These are audiences who have fought to keep their shows on the air and have exhibited passion, positivity, and all sorts of devotion over the past year. With that, we’ll see if one of these two shows end up making it pretty far into the tournament this year.
Now that we’ve set the stage, let’s get to breaking down these entries further. Voting for this round remains open until Wednesday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time.
Timeless (#2 seed) – The show may be somewhat under-the-radar when it comes to coverage, but in terms of its popularity here at CarterMatt and in social media, this is absolutely worthy of getting this #2 seed and then some. We’re absolutely curious to see how the ratings progress and the story moves forward this season — after all, this is a season that the fans are responsible for and that adds another layer of fun to our overall viewing experience.
Good Behavior (#7 seed) – Finally, we turn to the TNT drama, which is currently in the midst of a waiting game in order to determine whether or not the series gets renewed for a third season. Since we cannot predict the future here what we have to do instead is pretty simple: Cross our fingers, keep supporting the show, and then hope for the best when it comes to getting more of Michelle Dockery and company. This is a show, like Timeless, that really puts fun escapism at the center — even if Letty is a little bit of a mess.
