Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 15 preview: Is Jo leaving?
Meredith tries to learn more about Marie Cerone’s history with her mother. Meanwhile, Jo is applying for fellowships around the country and it throws Alex for a loop; and Tom Koracick helps April acknowledge her crisis of faith.
Despite all of those concerns, though, here’s a reason why you can have a little bit of hope: Earlier today when it was announced that both Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew were departing the show, it was also noted that there would not be any other departures among the cast. That means, at least seemingly, that you will continue to see the likes of Camilla Luddington and most of the other main players stick around. (As for recurring players like Jeanine Mason, who has a new part over on The CW’s Roswell reboot, we do expect for there to be a few other departures.) Jo and Alex’s relationship is so critical to the show at this point that her leaving would completely gut the fanbase, especially after the departure of Izzie. Can’t we just have everyone happy now for at least a little while?
Going into this episode, there are a few larger things that you really should be worried about, most notable when it comes to April — who has shown herself over the past several weeks to be not only a danger to herself, but also others. We want to see her spiral stop soon, especially now that we know the truth about her departure from the series. While we’ve seen so many other exits on the series over the years, we don’t exactly think it gets any easier over time. They really get only more emotional as time goes on because we get some invested to more or less the entire ensemble.
