This Is Us: big Deja storyline on the way ahead of season finale
Up until this point very little has been known about this girl’s past, but that’s about to change this coming Tuesday when we will take a closer look at her life. At the end of last week’s episode, Randall opened his front door to see Deja standing there before the screen went black. In the trailer, we see Beth and Randall seating down with her and telling her that her what her name reminded them of. From here, we are given a glimpse into the rough reality that is her world. We see that Deja and her mother are going to be evicted from their apartment and that her young mother tells her they are going to figure something out. As her mother tells her this, the scene flashes so that we a girl looking lovingly at an unknown man. Is this Deja’s father? Perhaps or he could be someone else entirely. What we can say with more certainty is that the mystery man probably has a significant role in her and her mother’s lives. As for what that role is, we aren’t exactly sure yet.
The audience then begins to see that Deja has had to fight to survive. We see her possibly at a thrift store trying to sell some things for money and our hearts break for a girl who know has a big heart and personality. The scene then flashes back to present where we see her with Randall and his family laughing and having a good time all the while we hear Randall’s voiceover telling her that he sees himself in her. He continues by saying that if he can see himself in her then she is going to be okay in the end. She’s going to do something with her life and that’s she going to get the break she needs.
It’s certainly going to be a touching episode and its going to be filled with surprises and moments that we will never forget. Is it Tuesday yet?
