Chicago Med season 3 episode 10 sneak peek: Natalie suffers head injury

NBC recently released a sneak peek for the upcoming episode titled “Down by Law” of Chicago Med. The sneak peek hints at the intensity the episode will be packed with and things aren’t looking so good for Dr, Natalie and Barry, the man Maggie has a history with.

In the first look, Natalie and Barry witness a drive by shooting that results in a young man being shot in the chest. The two immediately rush to his aid. However, just as they are about to transport him to the ER, the car returns to finish the job. In an attempt to shield her from being shot, Barry pushes Natalie out of the way, only for her to hit her head hard on the side of a car. We can see that it definitely hurt her as we see the pain in her face, and that she is slow to respond to anything. Meanwhile, Barry pulls out his gun and fires back. He ends up getting shot in the knee. The screen fades to black and we are left with the feeling of wanting more.

What we can’t wait for is how this will affect Natalie. Knowing her, she won’t let the injury stop her from doing her job, but we feel as though something is going to happen as a result of her delay in treating herself. For Barry, this could put some pressure on Maggie to divulge her feelings for the man she wants to take this slow with. It’s obvious she doesn’t trust him fully, but still cares for him. So when Barry shows up to the ER as a patient how will Maggies react? We can guess she will be surprised, but will try and contain her emotions as to not disrupt the flow of the ER.

In addition, who will come to Natalie and Barry’s aid? We know Natalie is a bit out of it and Barry will probably have a hard time walking so how will this scene end? Once again, we can guess that either Natalie will collect herself in order to get them to safety along with the man they were trying to save, or another hospital member heard the gunshots and will come to their aid.
