Shadowhunters season 3 premiere photos feature Alec, Lilith, Magnus, and more
At the center of the premiere is apparently going to be secrets — there are still many of them reverberating through some of these characters in the midst of what happened with Jace and some of the other surprises within the season 2 finale. Hopefully, though, most of the core relationships are going to remain okay in the process, and that includes the one between Magnus and Alec. The photo above features the two of them — after a long day of being a warlock, we presume that Magnus is just relaxing with a nice drink here, no? Having his great love nearby has to help things.
There’s another photo of Matthew Daddario as Alec below, and in addition to that there are a few other images worth noting.
1. Anna Hopkins as Lilith – She’s the biggest threat that the Shadowhunters and Downworlders have to deal with during at least the first half of season 3, and this is the best look we’ve had at her costume so far (she’s obviously been in trailers, but never at a standstill).
2. What’s happening at the hospital? – Are we picking up directly where we left of with season 2? Otherwise anytime that characters are there it sends a shiver down our spine … though we suppose that we appreciate it since it helps ground this supernatural show in some reality.
3. The team getting to work – There’s really not too much of a spoiler within this image, but it’s a nice reminder that when you are at the Institute your work is never really done. Whatever sort of victory Clary and company may feel is almost certainly going to be short-lived.
