Bull season 2: How could Cable return to the TAC?
With that, we’ve come up with three different ways in which the Cable character can fight to get her job back the rest of the season — it doesn’t seem as though it’s something that is going to happen right away, but there’s absolutely hope for anything down the road.
1. Cable proves herself over time – Maybe she consults for a few episodes and proves that she can be counted on — the more that everyone in the TAC sees that, the more in turn that they may be willing to trust her as a part of the team.

2. Cable is needed for a number of cases – What if there’s a specific task that the TAC really needs her for? If she’s at least somewhat repentant over everything that happened, it’s possible Bull goes to her and realizes that they can work something out.
3. Cable makes some sort of sweeping gesture – We’re not talking about her writing a bunch positive comments about the TAC on the internet, either; maybe she puts what is left of her reputation on the line or is willing to work for free in order to make things right.
4. The rest of the TAC demands it – Remember, not everyone else was there when Bull made the decision to fire her. It’s probably not a popular decision! While Bull may be the boss, there are certainly some other people who may have the ability to offer up some of their own feedback on the subject.
When’s the right time for Cable to return?
Maybe in a few episodes, if she’s going to at all. You want the firing to have some weight, but you also don’t want the character gone for so long that you start to forget about her.
