SWAT episode 13 spoilers: Are Hondo and Jessica in trouble?

Is SWAT episode 13 going to feature some characters in jeopardy? Based on some of the first details that have been released, it seems like that could be the case for Hondo and Jessica.

The title for the March 1 episode (the first one back after the hiatus) is “Fences” and over the course of it, you will see Hondo start to realize that the relationship could end up causing both him and Jessica in trouble. There are some people who can find out about the affair that you will somehow be able to withstand. However, having one of them be Michael Plank is bad news. This is someone who is clearly going to care about this sort of thing and his actions could lead to serious trouble for the two.

If there’s any silver lining within this episode for Hondo, it’s that there may be so much else going on that maybe things in his personal life will be swept under the rug. (We know that we don’t want either one of these characters to find their current positions in jeopardy, so whatever has to happen to ensure their security is more than okay with us!)

“Fences” – Hondo and Jessica’s secret relationship comes to a crossroads when Michael Plank (Peter Facinelli), the president of the police commission, discovers their affair. Also, when Hondo and the team assist with the federal investigation to bring in an undocumented fugitive, they find themselves at the center of a citywide immigration debate, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, March 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

One of the things we’re especially curious to learn about within SWAT episode 13 are the overall stakes for the episode. Fun fact: Originally, this episode could have served as the season finale had SWAT not received the full-season order. It’s possible that there may have been some changes to it after that back-nine pickup, but we still think that there are going to be some pivotal moments that take place. That is probably one of the biggest reasons why the relationship between Jessica and Hondo is being addressed here — it felt like the story was important enough for it to matter.
