Gotham season 4: Is this the biggest Catwoman tease to date?
In a new post on Twitter (see below), series star Camren Bicondova made it pretty clear just what she’s doing behind the scenes — and it looks almost like a trademark Catwoman heist that you would see in the comics! Is she finally starting to become more of the famous cat burglar that we know her to be? That’s obviously the #1 theory that you should have at the moment after looking at this and it’s certainly welcome.
Beyond just the exciting visual that is present here, we’re also just psyched to see Gotham embracing the comic-book destinies of many of these characters within the second half of this season. There is no word still on the Gotham ratings, but with the future beyond season 4 still relatively unclear the hope here is that this is the show putting all of the cards on the table so that it makes sure it achieves everything that it originally set itself out to do.
What’s probably most exciting about this to us is that in the event that there is a season 5 of Gotham in the future, the producers will have arranged everything so that we can have almost a full season that feels almost like Batman. Many of the villains will be at the height of their villainy or at least close to it, while Bruce Wayne will hopefully have started to realize more of his destiny at that point. Some of the previews that are out there for the second half of season 4 already, including one that you can see over at the link here, strongly suggest that he will be getting a little bit more familiar with bats.
One of the biggest things that Selina still has left to do is come up with a little bit more in the way of her own personal independence when it comes to high-stakes crime. While she is starting to get there, at the same time she’s got a little bit of work still to go as a criminal mastermind in her own right. We’d say to give it time, but there’s really not all that much in the way of time left!
