These new Gotham season 4 Jerome promos may freak you out
These two promos were posted recently over on Cameron Monaghan’s Instagram page, and they give you more of a sense as to how his character is going to react to being locked up in Arkham. While he may be separate from the outside world, this is very much still the same Jerome that you remember. He is still sly and sinister, just as he is also capable of more unspeakable things.
Also, the idea of a partnership between him and Penguin is both intriguing and terrifying. Jerome seems like the perfect person for Oswald to hire to do some of his dirty work; yet, there is no guarantee that he will actually do some of what you ask him to do. That’s what could set these two characters up for a showdown at some point, which is precisely what CarterMatt wants to see! What’s better than seeing these two characters going toe to toe in order to see who stands on the top of the food chain in Gotham!
Maybe Jerome and Oswald will put their differences aside for a time, but one of the clearest common threads when it comes to Gotham over the years is the inability for some of the biggest villains of the city to work together. They all have their own enormous egos and with that, they never are able to put everything aside for long enough for them to be able to come together in any kind of permanent capacity. Part of the reason for that is that they’ve all got their specific goals that they are looking to accomplish. For example, some of what Jerome wants to do is very different from what we anticipate that Oswald wants to do; in turn, that is different from what Ivy wants with the city.

One thing that’s especially worth noting is how Monaghan labels one of the promos as exclusive to his Instagram, which should in turn be a reminder that major networks are now looking more towards social channels as a means of promotion. It’s an interesting trend but with this, Gotham is looking at marketing specifically towards some of their key fans.
