Chicago Med season 3: What should come next for Dr. Connor Rhodes?
Having him stay single – While we loved Connor and Robin together and we sense some sexual tension forming between him and Dr. Bekker, we want to see Connor completely get over Robin and to live life as a single man for a little while longer. At the moment, we want him to focus more on himself. His last relationship had challenges so what’s a newly-single Connor like? Is he more dedicated to his work? It’s definitely a possibility and a reason we want to get to know Connor better.
Dr. Bekker – We personally love the dynamic between Dr. Bekker and Connor. It’s different because we kinda of want them together, but then we also want to see them continue to challenge each other. We saw this season that during an emergency surgery that they can work together and, in fact, do a dance as they work. Everything is smooth going and successful. However, there are also times when they want the credit the specific surgery has with it to themselves. This is normal for two doctors trying to prove they can be the best. Fans also saw this season that behind the tough exterior is a human with feelings. When Dr. Bekker’s mentor came for a complicated surgery, he embarrassed her to the point where she probably would have cried had Connor not have come to console her. It was a brief but touching moment between the two because it showed that they do care for each other. We can sense something is happening between them and we love it.
The build up is what fans live for. It’s the part of a television couple’s journey we want to see, despite fans expressing they just want them to final get together. What fans really want and live for is the agony of guessing when it will happen and the writers know this and will wait for the perfect moment. That’s why having him stay single now is so important.
Overall, we can’t wait to see what the writers have in store for Dr. Connor Rhodes.
