Chicago Med season 3: More tough cases ahead for Dr. Natalie Manning?
Continue to have her push the boundaries – By doing this the show becomes more intense. It allows fans to get to know Natalie better than we ever thought possible and as we have mentioned before fans want this. They want to become integrated into their favorite characters’ lives. Whenever Natalie pushes the boundaries, we are reminded just how dedicated she is to her job and also simply that she’s a great doctor. In addition, we also learn more about her morals, values and how her mind works in order to make decisions. It’s great to see this kind of character development and we love that the show explores her character on a deeper level.
Her relationship with Will – As we mentioned with Will’s spotlight (which you can check out here), we want to see their relationship tested. For Natalie, she also has to keep her son (Owen) in mind as he is her first priority. She doesn’t just have to keep in mind if Owen does or does not like Will, but also that she doesn’t put him second to her work or her relationship. We know that she wants the two to interact with each other in order for the them to get use to the other being in their life. Will is determined to win Owen over, but what happens if Owen truly does not want Will in his life? Now granted Owen is very young, but he will get older and be able to comprehend what is going on between his mother and Will?
The show can go a variety of directions with this relationship, however, in the end we hope that Will is Natalie’s end game. Natalie was devastated when her husband died, but things happen for a reason so maybe her husband died so she could have her chance with her true soulmate. It’s just a thought.
