Scorpion season 4 episode 17 return date: ‘Dumbster Fire’ details

Interested in learning the Scorpion season 4 episode 17 return date? Obviously there is going to be a hiatus following what transpires tonight due to the Olympics, but the break may not be as long as you first assumed!

We’ll be the first to say that we anticipated that the CBS drama would be off until early March following tonight’s episode; luckily, instead we’ve learned that Scoprion season 4 episode 17 will air on Monday, February 26, meaning that there will be just two weeks of repeats coming up between now and when the show returns.

As for the episode’s title of”Dumbster Fire,” let’s just say that there is a very specific reason for that name. CarterMatt has for you the official Scorpion season 4 episode 17 synopsis below:

“Dumbster Fire” – The geniuses of Team Scorpion turn into knuckleheads and Paige must simplify the science for them, when their mental faculties are impaired during a job to prevent the creation of a black hole. Also, Florence and Sylvester grow closer when she helps him with a special project, on SCORPION, Monday, Feb. 26 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This sounds like it’s going to be hysterical. Episodes where characters find themselves in role-reversal situations are often worthy of a laugh or two and we certainly think that this will be as well. It’s also a fun test to see how much Katharine McPhee’s character has learned about science just from being around some of Team Scorpion over the past few years. We know that this is not her typical role within the team, but it may help the team to see her even more in a different light.

As for the Florence / Sylvester part of the episode, this seems to be organically building off of what transpires on Monday night’s episode when Sylvester starts to ponder a possible romance between the two. A part of what makes Scorpion a fun show for many people is seeing some of these tech geeks find love, something that has been elusive for them for so long. What makes Sylvester’s story a little bit different is that it’s about finding love again after he had it with Megan. We don’t think that he forgets about her; we just think that it’s been some time and she would want him to eventually find someone else and be happy.
