Sneaky Pete season 2 premiere date and trailer revealed
To be specific, March 9 is when you can see the entirety of the crime series from executive producer Bryan Cranston back on the air, and there are many different reasons to be excited about it. For one, there are few series that give you the combination of great characters and smart, savvy crime writing. It’s an heir apparent to White Collar and a cousin to TNT’s Good Behavior in that department. Beyond that, there are also few other series on the air right now that give you as this much of the awesome Margo Martindale as this series does right now. She’s well worth the Prime subscription alone.

While the season 2 trailer does not necessarily give you all that much in terms of tangible scoop on what’s coming up on Sneaky Pete season 2, that really doesn’t matter all that much. What the new trailer does do is offer up some more reminders of what made the first season great and how the intent seems to be the escalate the cons and, in turn, the danger. There is a parallel here between this show and another one Cranston knows very well in Breaking Bad, mostly in that every season is going to dive in deeper to the point where you wonder if anyone is going to be able to make it out alive.
CarterMatt knows that Amazon does have a lot riding on Sneaky Pete season 2, given that this series is actually one of its most-popular shows. Even if it doesn’t generate as much publicity as you probably think that it should, there is a lot of enthusiasm out there around it and we imagine that there will be many eyeballs glued to the set when it comes out.
As for why March instead of February, our feeling is that Amazon didn’t want to mess with the Olympics – no one really wants to go up against the games.
