Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 15 return date: Riggs’ withdrawal
Let’s start off with the aforementioned return date: Tuesday, February 6 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. There is no new episode coming up next week, and with the upcoming Winter Olympics there is going to be a break in the action after that. With that, “An Inconvenient Ruth” could be very important. After all, it will help to set the stage for everything coming the rest of the way this season.

Murtaugh and Riggs search for the culprit of a local jewelry heist. Meanwhile, Murtaugh gets called “grandpa” by another parent while at the playground with Harper, sending him into a tizzy, and Riggs deals with withdrawal from drinking in the all-new “An Inconvenient Ruth” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Feb. 6 (8:00PM-9:00PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In terms of comedy, we’re absolutely confident that Murtaugh will have an instant mid-life crisis the moment that someone refers to her as “grandpa.” It should be funny, but it could also do a thing or two in order to inspire him to make some necessary changes to his life.
Beyond just that, though, you’ve also got the recovery story for Riggs. Getting away from drinking is a step forward to him, but we have a hard time thinking that his withdrawal in this episode is going to be the end of the road for this story. Drinking problems are the sort of thing that tend to stay with someone for a long time. There are peaks and valleys, and the best thing for him may be just putting himself in an environment where the temptation isn’t quite there.
