The Flash season 4 episode 13 spoilers: Katee Sackhoff returns for ‘True Colors’

Flash season 4 episode 13

The Flash season 4 episode 13 is bringing back Katee Sackhoff as Amunet Black, and over the course of “True Colors” you’ll find out just how much Barry Allen is willing to do in order to help some people who, surprisingly, have formed some sort of relationship with him: His cellmates.

Basically, if you were hoping that Barry was going to find himself released from prison at some point during the upcoming stint of episodes, prepared to be disappointed. He is going to be spending at least a few weeks behind bars, trying to figure out his next move and if there is a way to out-think the Thinker. While he is in there, he’s going to be somewhat reliant on Ralph Dibny to be the hero that Central City needs … which is probably not the sort of thing anyone really wants, given that he is not altogether easy to rely on with his history.

So … why not assign the whole Top Hero title to Cisco Ramon? We figure it’s because Vibe’s powers are a little abstract and not useful in every situation. Meanwhile, it’s hard to rely on Killer Frost, especially since it takes a very specific trigger to bring that part of Caitlin’s personality out in the first place.

This episode actually could end up being one of the most important for shaping Dibny as a character … including turning him into someone that the majority of fans out there can actually get behind. With the writing of him in his first few episodes he was certainly an unseemly / poorly-timed character. He’s shown some personal growth; here’s to hoping things continue to chart in the right direction.
