Shark Tank preview: Pandaloon, ZUP, Alice’s Table, Boobie Bar, & AquaVault

Pandaloon

Who is ready for some more Shark Tank coming up on the air? There are two episodes coming up on ABC tonight, and one of them is set to feature Pandaloon, ZUP, Alice’s Table, and Boobie Bar, with AquaVault serving as the update on the night.

Like we often do at CarterMatt, let’s start off this article with a synopsis before handing down some more information about the products featured tonight:

An entrepreneur from Brookline, Massachusetts, empowers women to create a community that prioritizes living well, working hard and encouraging women to build businesses of their own with her idea; a trio of entrepreneurs from Williamsburg, Virginia, pitch the sharks a fresh, new way to ease people into water sports with their all-in-one invention; a registered nurse turned entrepreneur from Carlsbad, California, helps breastfeeding moms find a healthy and convenient way to increase their milk supply with her delicious food item; a panda-loving entrepreneur from Burbank, California, hopes to make panda lovers out of the Sharks when she presents her animal-themed pet apparel company, on “Shark Tank,” SUNDAY, JAN. 14(10:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Pandaloon – Basically, it’s a line of clothing, accessories, and even pet outfits designed to look like pandas — the company also gives back to panda conservation. While we’re not sure we could pull off ANYTHING when it comes to panda-related articles of clothing, we like the idea behind the company. For starters, everyone loves pandas. Also,

ZUP – This is a very smart product line designed with one simple purpose: Making aspiring water-sports enthusiasts feel more comfortable being behind a boat and giving it a go. As someone who has certainly had plenty of fears being in that position in the past, we do think that this is a smart product and an interesting way to get people to take a chance at something that could be fun.

Alice’s Table – The entire basis of this company seems to be figuring out a way for women to build their own successful business, often within the floral industry. It’s based on leadership, empowerment, and teaching — it’s a little bit more of an abstract idea than your average Shark Tank business but the mission at the center of the company is smart: Helping women find success in ways that give them a sense of creativity and confidence.

Boobie Bar – These products (which certainly have a buzz-worthy name) are designed with the purpose of facilitating breastfeeding and creating a healthy environment both for mothers and their babies. Given how wide this potential audience is, there’s a great incentive for Sharks to give this a look.
