Blindspot season 3 spoilers: The broken path ahead for Jane and Weller

Is Blindspot new tonight on NBC? While the Jaimie Alexander series may have started later in the fall than the vast majority of the other programs on the schedule, we are grateful for the run of episodes that we had leading into Christmas. There were very few repeats along the way and that was successful in getting us emerged into the story once more.

All of this did also give us enough to time to be hooked before the producers dropped the next enormous bomb on everyone: The apparent death of Jane Doe’s daughter at the hand of Weller. He admitted to Jane that he killed her in the closing seconds of the fall finale and this feels like the sort of incident that you don’t walk away from. It really doesn’t matter if you’re someone who never even knew their daughter; it’s your daughter nonetheless.

There are of course questions as to whether or not she is really gone — with a show like Blindspot, these really are the sort of questions you should always ask. There is always a reasonable chance that there will be further twists, and you have to ultimately wait and see what happens with some of those.

Let’s get back now to the question at the start of this article — there is no new episode of Blindspot airing tonight, and there won’t be until you get around to Friday, January 12. At that point, maybe the show will start to unravel some of what happened with Weller in Berlin, which should in turn give us a few more answers. It feels a little bit too easy for the series to wrap up this entire story in a convenient little bow within a single episode, but we’ll give the show a chance and see what happens.
