Quantico season 3 – Alan Powell casting confirmed by ABC; what’s his role?
So who is he going to play? Well, we’ve got a little bit more news on that right now! According to a report from Deadline, you’re going to be seeing Powell as a series regular in the role of Mike, an undercover operative who knows a lot about how to work in the field. He previously worked in order to infiltrate a white supremacist group in the south, and because of this experience he knows how to act confident, fight, and speak to a group of people who are often incredibly difficult. Taking on the hate group seems to be one of the main objectives to him coming on board the show.
Quantico season 3 features once more Priyanka Chopra as Alex Parrish, but there are going to be many other new additions to the show and a different sort of story. Michael Seitzman of Code Black is going to be coming on board as the new showrunner, and one of the new other new series regulars is going to be Marlee Matlin. Hopefully, these new additions inject a little bit more life and energy into the season than ever before. If you love Quantico, it definitely does feel as though there is quite a bit that you have to be excited about here! We just hope that it’s reflective in the ratings.
Now, we just have to hope that ABC announces a premiere date for the show at some point in the near future. Given that filming for new episodes didn’t start all that long ago, we have a hard time thinking that the show is going to be on the air before spring at the earliest. It could serve as an eventual replacement for The Good Doctor once its 18-episode run is done.
For those wondering, some of Powell’s other TV credits include the likes of Nashville and A Deadly Affair. He’s also well-known as a musician and a former member of the Christian rock band Anthem Lights.
