The Flash season 4 spoilers: Danny Trejo story to be wonderfully crazy
There may not be an official photo released as of yet of Trejo’s character, but the photo above (which is from Tuesday’s “Luck Be a Lady”) seems to be an almost perfect representation of what Cisco’s character may be like once he meets this guy. His character is named Breacher, and he’s a guy with great powers who probably lives up to his name without fail; he also happens to be super-intimidating and may not be that happy about his daughter Gypsy being romantically intertwined with him. We can’t say that we’re shocked by that, given that he would probably much prefer someone from his own world who she can see without so much inter-dimensional travel.
(Still, is it too much to ask for some opportunities to see Gypsy’s Earth at some point in the future? We know that the show doesn’t want to rely on this gimmick too much but we do think in this instance it could be fun.)
Jessica Camacho is the person responsible for the Gypsy role, and speaking on the subject of Breacher’s arrival to TV Guide she had the following to say:
“[Breacher] shows up in the midst of Cisco and Gypsy totally vibing — no pun intended — each other and just being on a love high … He shows up and really kind of throws a wrench into what they got going on. All of the sudden he’s like, ‘Who are you? How dare you think you’re good enough for my daughter. Let’s see what you got.'”
As tense as things may be between these characters during the early part of this story, we’re still going to do our best to hold out hope that things somehow get patched up by the end of the episode. After all, Cisco clearly cares about Gypsy and while there may be some serious stumbling blocks that they have to get over, shouldn’t that be all that matters? Plus, with Gypsy’s powers it’s not like she has to vacate her Earth forever to be with him if she wants to.
