Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 5 return date: The Halloween episode

Before we do anything else within the scope of this article, we do feel the need to share the Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 5 return date.

What’s the reason for that? Well, it has a lot to do with a new Michael Jackson Halloween special that is airing on CBS in one week’s time. It makes sense for the network to try to do new things, and that includes trying to get into the popular Halloween Special business given that there is so much money that can be made out of them year in and year out.

Unfortunately, for fans of the Alex O’Loughlin series, what this does mean is that your favorite is going to be displaced for one week’s time. There is no new episode airing now on the network until you get around to Friday, November 3, and at that point you will have a chance to wee the Halloween episode of the show a week late. The indication here is pretty clear — there was probably not a plan to put the episode on the air late, and this was originally designed to air on the 17th. That’s just our own speculation on that subject, though.

“Kama’oma’o, ka ‘aina huli hana” – At Halloween, Five-0 must investigate a string of murders that mirror stories from well-known Hawaiian folklore. Also, Grover is called to visit a man hours away from execution who may hold the key to a case that has plagued Grover for years, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Nov. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

This episode is going to be serving two different purposes, with each one of them being very cool in its own right. The first purpose here is that this is going to give you a really great opportunity to check out a Halloween-themed story — something that has become a tradition for this show over time. Beyond that, there is also a chance here for the show to take on a Hawaiian tradition, something that we do love whenever the show gets a chance to do it. Remember, these traditions are the backbone of the series and it’s hard to imagine Hawaii Five-0 having the same spirit — or the same devotion from its fans — without them being included. They add that little something special that reminds you that this is a location completely of its own.
