Bull season 2 episode 5 spoilers: A case in tribal court

Bull season 2 episode 5 will be a case that is very different than any that have come before it, and the setting is a big reason. Remember the season 1 episode where Michael Weatherly and the remainder of the cast headed off to military court in order to wrangle a case? What makes these courtrooms so interesting is that they operate with some of their own rules. Not only does Bull have to resolve a case, but he has to figure out how to operate within this particular world.

The title for this episode is “Play the Hand You’re Dealt.” The synopsis below offers a few more details when it comes to the case itself!

Bull season 2 episode 5 synopsis – “Bull navigates the unfamiliar rules of a Native American tribal court when his college roommate is accused of committing murder on his reservation. Also, Bull meets Marissa’s new boyfriend, Kyle (Gary Wilmes), on BULL, Tuesday, Oct. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

While meeting Marissa’s boyfriend is going to be very interesting — we know that Bull loves having her around, so he’s going to be curious to meet who is keeping her from the rest of the team — we do feel like the case is going to take center stage here. In terms of providing some great drama it should bring a lot to the table, but it could also be educational! While we don’t think that this is necessarily the intention of Bull to give people an education, we do appreciate it when it happens. It helps this show stand out from some others out there and exposes them to communities they may not know all that much about. Life in some of these tribal communities is a very good venue for that, given that they have fallen vastly under the radar in comparison to the million or so crazy things that are all happening right now in the world right now. Hopefully, Bull brings some of the issues Native Americans are facing in 2017 to light.

Of course, we do imagine that it will be entertaining and at times funny along the way. This is just the way that the show often tends to operate!
