Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4 preview: Dawson in grave danger

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4

Moving into Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4, you’re going to see something that in part feels familiar: A character in danger. This time around this said character is going to be Gabriella Dawson, and it’s not all that difficult to figure out what some of the stakes are going to be around here. The synopsis below explains them!

Chicago Fire season 6 episode 4 synopsis – “While running a secret errand, Dawson (Monica Raymund) finds herself trapped in a collapsed parking structure. With all paths of exit blocked, she is forced to improvise and works double-duty to keep a number of injured individuals alive while trying to maintain peace among those trapped. Meanwhile, pressure is mounting on Casey (Jesse Spencer) as he begins to take on additional duties, Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) grows increasingly skeptical of Hope (guest star Eloise Mumford) after learning about rumors circulating and the firehouse receives a surprise visitor. Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, Kara Killmer, David Eigenberg, Yuri Sardarov, Joe Minoso and Christian Stolte also star.”

Basically at the center of this story is going to be another signature rescue mission that shows off the strength of one of these characters. In this specific case, that said character is clearly Dawson. Monica Raymund should have a chance to give a great performance, and the news of this story caps off what is as a whole a really great week for the character. Just remember for a moment here that Dawson also appeared on Chicago PD earlier this week, giving her a little bit of a fun scene as she used her Spanish-language skills to help solve a case.

As for what else is happening in the episode there’s a lot of interesting stuff to talk about when it comes to Hope and Kidd. This is a feud that has been simmering for a few episodes, and we don’t foresee this as just Kidd being jealous. It’s not that — she was fine with Anna. She noticed that something was wrong with her and was interested in figuring it out. Maybe someone has told her about this point that Hope has a history of stealing money from past employers? That could be a problem.

As for Dawson, just remember this — she and Casey have been so much before that she should be able to make it through … or at least we hope. The promo below, though, does make you plenty nervous … and right after Matt got the promotion, no less.
