Criminal Minds season 13 episode 3 preview: A ‘Killer App’ catastrophe
To call this an extremely dangerous case is an understatement given that it makes it so much harder to track a killer when they’re not leaving anywhere near as much evidence behind as to what they’ve done. Plus, tracking down drones is not exactly the sort of business that the BAU does on a fairly regular basis. Take a look at the synopsis below for more insight, though we’ll go ahead and tell you that it doesn’t give a whole lot more away.
Criminal Minds season 13 episode 3 synopsis – “The BAU investigates a workplace shooting committed by a state-of-the-art drone in Silicon Valley, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
The big takeaway that we get from this mostly is that if the BAU wants to ensure that they continue to be effective at their jobs, they really do have to keep up with the times. The way in which UnSubs are doing some of their unspeakable things is very different now than it was back when Criminal Minds first came on the air — that’s challenging, especially when you think about this being a relatively small team in comparison to hundreds of millions of people out there in America. They could travel anywhere in the country to do their job, so you also do have to add regional challenges to the list of things that they have to prepare for.
Could this episode be an especially big one for Matt Simmons and Spencer Reid? The two are featured in the photo above and with that in mind we’d like to think so. Personally, we just would like to see Daniel Henney paired up with a whole lot of interesting co-stars given that it could spice things up and bring a few more different dynamics to the show that we don’t often seen.
The promo raises more questions
We did just mention that this could be a big episode for Henney, and the promo suggests this even more as it’s looking like his character could end up being one of the targets by the time the episode ends. We don’t quite think CBS would bring the character over only to kill him off a few episodes in, but there’s still plenty of reason to be worried for him.
Update: This episode is now being delayed.
