Fuller House: Don’t expect Olsen twins to make a cameo anytime soon
According to US Weekly, the chances are slim, but also says if they decide to make to return on their own the offer still stands:
“I’ve stopped asking, really I kind of gave up. But when somebody rings a doorbell, the girls yell, ‘It’s always open!’ on the show so that’s kind of how we feel about the Olsen twins. The door is open. But I think we’ve gotten enough no’s. We’re kind of done asking. But who knows? You never know in life. Who thought this whole thing would happen?”
While it would be great to see the Olsen twins make an appearance we understand that the choice is theirs and that their schedules may conflict. Also the constant badgering could play a part in their continued desire to say no. It was probably a good decision for Franklin to stop for now and maybe in the future they will decide to come back down the road, including a future season.
Even though the Olsen twins have been missing from the show, original cast members and Fuller House stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber and its third season just kicked off on Netflix. It also happens to be the original show’s 30th anniversary:
“It’s pretty crazy. It’s pretty special really. I’m having a lot of fun with these people that I love so much. And to get to work with them again is ridiculous and it’s a whole new thing because they were all little kids when we worked together the first time. And now they are amazing women. It’s pretty cool. I feel like I raised them, even though I know I didn’t, I know that I did. I wrote enough dad lectures for them. I’m going to hang onto that.”
It’s a big celebration for this show and we cannot wait to watch Season 3 Part 1 and we definitely can’t wait to know when Part 2 will be available. We’ve reported that it will be back in December, but beyond that it’s up to Netflix to make a future announcement.
