Gotham season 4 episode 2 preview: The Scarecrow’s reign of terror
We do think that there is quite a bit of specificity in “A Dark Knight: The Fear Reaper,” which is the title for next week’s new episode. The synopsis below offers up additional insight on the Crane storyline plus a few other odds and ends:
Gotham season 4 episode 2 synopsis – “Under pressure to prove that the GCPD is still powerful, Gordon attempts to bring in Jonathan Crane. However, Gordon puts himself in a dangerous situation at Arkham when he is forced to fight off lunatics and the demon within himself. Meanwhile, with Barbara’s unexpected return, Selina and Tabitha must consider risks that come with joining her in the weapon business in the all-new “A Dark Knight: The Fear Reaper” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Sept. 28 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
The Selina and Tabitha storyline will probably accelerate over the next several weeks when you remember more of who Selina is becoming. The show wants to create a compelling, dangerous Catwoman. In order to do that, they do need to showcase her training and learning how to properly use some of the tools in her arsenal. Tabitha is going to be a valuable mentor in that sense, but you do have to wonder now how Barbara will be integrated into this story. She was left for dead at the end of season 3, and we don’t imagine that she is going to be all that at peace with what’s transpired when this episode comes on the air.
About the Gotham season 4 episode 2 promo
This makes you all the more terrified of the Scarecrow given that Crane has seemingly now left his former identity behind and isn’t going to let anyone use his father’s fear toxin other than himself. Meanwhile, he may also decide to use some of it on Jim, who has been through so much psychological torment on the show at this point that it’s hard to know if it is ever going to end.
