Victoria season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Albert’s revelation; a time apart

Next week Victoria season 2 episode 4 is going to be airing on ITV, and just as you would imagine there are going to be many questions. For one, will the Queen be able to handle some new circumstances that are thrown her way? She will be used to a very specific manner of doing things, and that will be upended thanks to some circumstances related to her husband Albert. The two may have had their ups and downs, but at least for a time they were accustomed to taking on much of what lied ahead for them together. now, they’re starting to face a possibility of being apart for a little while, and this plus the Queen being a new mother should cause some complications.

Below, you can see a few more details regarding what lies ahead for both parties, including some big revelations on the part of Albert that could change quite a bit for him.

Victoria season 2 episode 4 synopsis – “The Royal Court is delighted by the arrival of a healthy Prince of Wales, but Victoria finds herself paralysed by an inexplicable sorrow after a difficult birth, and is unable to bond with her son. Things are not made easier when tragic news arrives from Coburg and Albert is forced to depart for his childhood home – the first time Victoria and Albert have been apart since their   wedding. Whilst in Coburg, Albert learns a dark family secret which leaves him feeling lost as to his place in Palace.

“Meanwhile, a blunder by Skerrett threatens to put Francatelli in the firing line unless she exposes her deepest secret. Will she confess and risk losing her livelihood? A reluctant revelation from Drummond also threatens to end his tentative friendship with Lord Alfred. When national duty calls, Victoria finds she cannot escape the responsibilities of being Queen regardless of whether or not Albert is standing behind her, and must draw on reserves of courage that she didn’t know she had. Will she in turn be able to reach Albert in his private torment?”

This episode should prove that regardless of who you are, there are still some obstacles that you must be prepared to take on in a relationship — communication is at the top of the list. You need to be let the person you’re with into your life; they care about you and want to help, and Albert needs to put some of his feelings or concerns to the side.

What we do know for sure is that early in this episode the Queen could be sorrow-stricken, both in terms of what happened with Melbourne and then Dash in the closing minutes. They are both powerful sorrows in their own way.
