NCISThe NCIS cast might be out on summer vacation, but the actors of the popular series are definitely working on other projects. Viewers of the CBS drama TV series might be pleasantly surprised to learn that Pauley Perrette and Sean Murray are using their voices to offer up an anti-bullying message. The new PSAs, released by CBS, are a positive reminder that bullying isn’t acceptable in any environment, including schools.

Fans of NCIS know that it’s an important topic if the series actors to get behind a social message. In today’s climate it’s tough for famous people to share their voice without someone tearing them down for one reason or another, but ending school bullying is an important issue that everyone can get behind. CBS will probably air the messages on TV during the upcoming season, but these new video messages were just released online.

NCIS actors remind fans to use words for building up others

The anti-bullying message in Pauley Perrette’s video reflects more on school situations. Building up people by using words (instead of tearing each other down) is the focus of the CBS cares promo. The video looks to be shot at the NCIS studios as the background looks very familiar.

The other video message, shared by Sean Murray, reminds parents to teach their kids to respect other classmates at school. Both seem like common messages, but sometimes the simplest ideas need a gentle reminder as our lives are super busy.

Over the last few years, the cast of NCIS have stepped up to talk about other issues too. Reminding America about helping out veterans, the cast has helped raise awareness and funds for individuals who have been part of America’s military. Viewers of the show love the passion and effort put into the messages which is another reason to respond.

As far as public service announcements go, both of the NCIS actors have an important message for us all to listen to: Bullying is unacceptable in any manner. Lending their celebrity popularity to an issue like this makes a big impact. This issue might not otherwise might not be heard on such a national scale. There is nothing wrong with reminding kids (and adults too) to treat each other with kindness. In fact it’s something we all should do every day!
