Teen Choice Awards 2017: Where to live stream red carpet pre-show
The Teen Choice Awards 2017 are airing on Fox Sunday night, but you don’t have to wait in order to check out the red carpet pre-show! This event is going to mark a great opportunity to see many of the biggest names out there, at least for this particular demographic, on TV picking up some famous surfboards.
The awards are in many ways one of the bigger enigmas that are out there, mostly because of the fact that it dominates social media but isn’t always all that much of a dynamo in the ratings. One of the struggles that Fox has is finding a way to drive the same audience to TV that they do to some of the voting for their billion or so categories.
For those wondering, the show itself, hosted by John Cena and Vanessa Hudgens, is going to start airing at around 8:00 p.m. Eastern time tonight, but you don’t have to wait that long in order to start streaming the red carpet pre-show! You can watch the video below starting at 4:00 p.m. Eastern, and it will allow for opportunities to see some of the talent on the red carpet, talking about their nominations and being at the awards show. One of the fun things that does exist at the TCAs is that this is often the first awards show for many of the people nominated, so they develop a close affection for it and are willing to come back later on in their careers. They remember it fondly.
Some of the stars to appear at the show tonight include Fifth Harmony, The Dolan Twins, Lucy Hale, Janel Parrish, Chris Pratt, Tyler Posey, Yara Shahidi, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Zendaya, Millie Bobby Brown, Craig Robinson, Adam Scott, a number of Fox personalities in order to promote the network’s upcoming fall season, and many more. There’ll be performances throughout the night and also some lighthearted fun. Given the nature of this show we’re not sure how political things are going to get, but we’re absolutely not going to be ruling that out. Just remember that this is a time when it’s so much harder to keep your thoughts to yourself on difficult issues.
