Wynonna Earp season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Wynonna’s next move

There is a sense of whimsy in many Wynonna Earp episodes, and we expect the same for season 2 episode 6 airing next week. With that said, we don’t expect the story coming up to be a parade through a forest of tulips and roses, either. This is still a show where crazy stuff happens, and we don’t anticipate that changing all that much.

As a matter of fact, some of the whimsy of next week’s new installment “Whiskey Lullaby” is going to be masked underneath a danger that could take the entire town or Purgatory away.

Doesn’t that sound dangerous to anyone else? We don’t think we have to define “dirt nap” to anyone — let’s just say that these people aren’t just going to wake up two hours later groggy and need of a coffee. This is a task that is going to take a whole lot more than just a single character, and seeing how the show follows up everything in tonight’s episode (much-anticipated thanks mostly to Wynonna’s transformation) should be exciting to see.

Well, we now know that Wynonna’s pregnant. That’s for starters. As for where that story goes from here, it’s a reasonably good question — but one without much in the way of a cohesive answer right now. The biggest thing to note from this promo is mostly that the show does seem to be undergoing somewhat of a sea change — with the goo gone, where the show goes from here is an interesting question, and the same thing goes for what sort of threats enter Purgatory.

The one mystery element included in this promo is seeing the majority of the town vacated seemingly after the likes of Wynonna, Dolls, and others take a super-long nap. We’re liking building towards something new now, but what that is remains to be seen, and should definitely prove to be exciting.
