Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 6 return date; latest ratings

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 6

Want to know the Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 6 return date following tonight’s episode? We’re absolutely here to help!

As many of you out there likely suspected, there is no new episode of the TNT drama airing next week, with the simple reason for that being that next week is the Fourth of July and it’s therefore rather hard to put programming on the air at around that time. There will instead be a week off of the air, and the Ellen Barkin series will be back to continue its various misadventures on Tuesday, July 11.

When the show does return, it will be with an episode entitled “Cry Havoc” that makes it seem as though some of the walls are starting to close in on Smurf. Whether or not that is actually the case is something that you’ll find out when the show actually airs. Take a look below for some further insight.

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 6 synopsis – “As Javi (Alex Meraz) ratchets up the pressure on Smurf (Ellen Barkin), she enlists J (Finn Cole) to help her. Baz (Scott Speedman) is confronted by a secret Catherine kept from him. Pope (Shawn Hatosy) and Baz clash in the wake of the megachurch job.”

Of course there’d be clashes in the wake of what happened with the church; who else saw that coming?

Ratings – For those following the show and its season 3 renewal effort closely, consider this even more in the way of good news. Last week’s episode held firm at around a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, and actually posted with 1.12 million viewers its best numbers since the premiere. To date, the show is down year-to-year just under 15% in both measures, but that’s pretty standard when it comes to scripted series these days.
