TNT’s Claws episode 3 spoilers: Picking up the pieces

Moving into Claws episode 3, one of the big questions is relatively simple: Is it possible for Desna to be able to keep Virginia in line? At the end of this episode episode, we saw her try to flee in the aftermath of what happened with Roller, only for Virginia to stop her from running off and causing even more problems for the two of them. She’s trying to contain what happened, while also trying to make her dream of getting a new salon together come true.

Unfortunately for Desna, nothing is going to ever come easy. She’s going to continue to be in Uncle Daddy’s crosshairs moving into the next new episode, and we’ll have a chance to see here what that means and how the story is going to unravel. Take a look below for some further insight into what’s coming up, including how Virginia is going to be faring in the aftermath of what happened to her in between Desna finding her and her surprise “appearance” at the memorial.

Claws episode 3 synopsis – “As Virginia’s (Karrueche Tran) lies deepen, Desna (Niecy Nash) plays catch-up covering their tracks. Desna still has a small shot at her dream salon, and with the help of her crew, she is determined to get it. Something goes awry at the clinic, putting Desna and Bryce (Kevin Rankin) in danger of Uncle Daddy’s (Dean Norris) wrath until they can figure a way out.”

The promo below gives you a further sense of some of the drama that is happening around Virginia — it’s clear that she’s gone through something terrible and that Uncle Daddy / his people may be in part complicit in that. Yet, at the same time you do have to figure her track record so far, and that she is truly on your side. Given her history, you can’t know for sure. Desna should be sympathetic to her plight, but also do a little bit of her own independent research in the process.

Overall, this episode looks to be everything that the first two episodes were: Fun, but also dramatic and intense at other points.
