The Night Shift season 4 episode 1 spoilers: Watch the opening now

Night Shift season 4 episode 1

The Night Shift season 4 episode 1 is airing on NBC come Thursday night, but you don’t have to wait any longer to check out an opening scene!

If you look below, you will learn that the season 4 premiere on NBC is going to be kicking things off with a time jump of a few days, where characters are still going to be immersed into the action — though not so much completely removed from all of it just yet. Take, for example, TC still struggling to stay alive in Syria. The good news is that he is still breathing, but that may unfortunately be the only good news given that everything else in his life is going to hell in a handbasket.

Where is Syd? That’s another question that you should be concerned about at the moment. Just because TC made it doesn’t quite mean that Jennifer Beals’ character also did.

Beyond that drama, there’s some good news when it comes to Jordan. She’s still alive! She and Drew are going to be embarking on a rescue mission of their own following the crazy fires in the finale. That’s one of the fun things about the premiere, though “fun” may be the wrong way to describe stories where there are lives in jeopardy — you are going to get a chance to see the writers work to get themselves out of some challenging spots that they found themselves in throughout the series. We’ll find a way to see some of these characters emerge from this rubble, but the truth here still remains that there are way more challenges that are also going to lie ahead for the crew throughout the season. There are further hurdles whether it be hospital drama or the wide array of patients that come through those doors — oh, and there are still romantic subplots!
