Pretty Little Liars series finale is Shay Mitchell’s favorite

Just in case you were interested in some more hype leading up to the Pretty Little Liars series finale, Shay Mitchell is bringing just that!

While on the red carpet today for the iHeartRadio MuchMusic Video Awards, Shay made it clear that this episode is one that will give everyone at home what they want; not only that, but it’s also one she personally loves:

“The last episode is, and I think I can speak for all of the girls, truly our favorite episode. All of the fans are finally going to get [answers to] their questions.”

Mitchell also referred to the show ending as “bittersweet,” given that it has been such a huge part of her life for so long that it is probably rather difficult to imagine the show ever coming to a complete end.

We still don’t know how in the world Marlene King and the writers are going to fit all of those answers into the episode, but more power to them for trying! On Tuesday, the parade of answers may start in the form of finally learning what happened to Charlotte DiLaurentis on the night of her death. This will kickstart the finale, where you will learn the truth about A.D. and their connections to everyone else who has been at the center of the entire series. This is probably the most challenging reveal that has been done on the show since the very beginning, mostly because there are probably a contingent of people who are going to be upset with what happens no matter what is decided. We don’t envy anyone who has to deal with some of the reaction coming out of the finale; that much we know for sure.

Let’s just hope that when the dust does settle, you will get a chance to see Mitchell’s Emily find happiness just because she’s one of the main characters who has been through the most. It’s almost appropriate that her romantic partner in Ali is the one other person that she can share that distinction with given all of her trials and tribulations.
