Real Housewives of New York City spoilers: First look at LuAnn’s wedding!

Given how much drama you get on The Real Housewives of New York City, happy moments like LuAnn’s wedding are few and far between. There’s a reason why Bravo is promoting it as a big occasion! There haven’t been too many weddings on the show over the years, and it’s nice that they allowed cameras to be there for it. This ceremony happened back on New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach — which, for the record, seems to be the perfect place to have a party on NYE. You celebrate love, and then you also celebrate new beginning.

The video below is almost entirely about the wedding, with LuAnn de Lesseps explaining how she feels about getting a chance to do this and to enjoy the next phase of her life. After all, not everyone is so lucky to have a ceremony like this, and this is not something lost on her in the process.

Granted, there is much more coming on in this episode than just a wedding, and you can see some of that described further in the attached Bravo synopsis below:

Synopsis – “Bethenny hosts her annual holiday party, but Ramona’s not invited. Ramona gets advice on her situation with Bethenny from her daughter Avery and Avery’s friends. Luann and Tom get married in Palm Beach on New Year’s Eve. Tinsley learns that “Frenchie” has moved into Sonja’s townhouse. Newlyweds Luann and Tom host a NYC reception for the friends not invited to the wedding.”

If you’re not a huge LuAnn fan, odds are that this will probably not be the episode for you given that more of it may end up being geared around her than almost any episode in recent memory. The show will probably get closer to establishing more of its familiar balance in the episodes following this one, as LuAnn settles more into her new normal and we see more of what the story is going to hold from here on out.
