The Bachelorette: Rachel Lindsay empowers single women to be confident

Rachel

Rachel Lindsay knows she could go bust on her quest for love. She could look like a fool as millions watch from home. She could even find herself in tears if the man of her dreams says “no”. She’s absolutely vulnerable when it comes to the outcome of The Bachelorette, but she is still on TV. She believes the only way to find love is to take initiative. One of the strongest contestants on The Bachelorette so far, her empowering determination to find a guy isn’t just great television, it parallels real life for many single women.

Looking for love in 2017 isn’t for the faint of heart. Strength and dedication are essential as it’s the biggest decision in one’s life. It’s the beginning of a new chapter and the step before marriage. It’s not easy by any means, so it’s nice to see someone take on the challenge in front of the cameras.

Single women now have the chance to find their prince without gazing out of the castle window waiting for a man. Compared to a century ago (or even 25 years ago) the chance to find the perfect man no longer relies on a match by relatives or some other out-of-touch means. The decision to marry is a woman’s choice, but she first needs to find love. That’s where Rachel Lindsay’s focus inspires the masses.

Women embracing the challenge of looking for love sometimes feel like it’s a never ending process. Careers, social obligations and even pressure (yes, I’m talking about the family asking over and over about babies) are real. For Rachel it’s all of that millions of eyeballs watching to see if she makes the right choice among her suitors. Strangers’ opinions are tough. Rachel appears up to the challenge. She’s been clear she isn’t about to settle for a guy she doesn’t want. She defines the challenge of finding love without hesitation.

As viewers watch The Bachelorette, they watch the most basic element of women empowerment: Confidence. Nobody can look for love if they feel they aren’t complete. As fans see week to week, Rachel showcases her best traits and even shares how she is looking for a soulmate to better herself. She’s confident. What shows her confidence? Her fashion, her language and even her willingness to be on television are all part of her package.

Rachel Lindsay joins a long list of women who are willing to search on TV for the right guy. She has opened her heart, willing to see what might happen. New to the reality show series, Rachel even offered up a more personal angle with an introduction to her most trusted pal, Copper the dog.

Women Empowerment: Show your confidence like The Bachelorette

The Bachelorette highlights single women confident to find love and willing to be on TV. From the very first lead Trista Sutter to Ali Fedotowsky; from Jillian Harris to now Rachel, all of the ladies have empowered TV viewers. Every contestant has shown confidence on how to grab love by the heart and go for it. True love starts by being confident within your own skin and then sharing yourself with others. As Rachel has shown, it’s not easy, but it’s not impossible. Empowering yourself by being confident offers you a chance to go out and find your prince without waiting by the window.
