Memorial Day Weekend marathons: South Park, SVU, Harry Potter, and more
With Sunday being the second day in the long three-day Memorial Day Weekend holiday, there are still marathons all across the board! Whether it be comedy, fantasy, or a good old-fashioned crime mystery, there is still something for everyone out there to enjoy.
Below, there are some viewing highlights if you are interested in checking out some further programming the rest of the day. Just remember as you read along that all the times that are mentioned are Eastern — be sure to adjust accordingly depending on where you are in the country.
South Park – We all need a little bit of laughter in our lives these days, though for some out there the insane antics of Cartman and company may be a little bit much. Episodes of the animated comedy will be running from now until 4:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
Law & Order: SVU – Yesterday, episodes of the Mariska Hargitay series aired over on ION. Today, episodes are repeated instead on USA from now until around 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
Harry Potter – For those out there who love the JK Rowling film adaptations, Freeform are going to air many of them over the course of the rest of the day. Find your favorite movie and watch live! (Granted, we’re also pretty sure that there are plenty of people out there who have already had a chance to check these out either in the theaters or on Blu-Ray.)
The Hannibal Film Series – While we are personally more of a fan of the currently-canceled NBC version from Bryan Fuller, you can check out throughout the day airings from the film franchise over on BBC America.
Finally, there is a mini-Superman movie marathon going on over on TNT, although the two movies in Superman Returns and Man of Steel are not exactly connected to one another.
Out of all of these shows / movies airing today, are there any that you are especially intrigued to check out? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below!
Meanwhile, we will return on Monday with some more news regarding some programming coming on the air then. (Photo: Comedy Central.)
