Shades of Blue season 2 finale spoilers: Jennifer Lopez, cast look for truth
Is there a real reason for fear? It depends on the definition. Characters could very well die on this show — it’s happened before; yet, these characters will probably not be played by either Jennifer Lopez or Ray Liotta. The challenge for the writers is finding some other ways to initiate drama over the course of the run time; it may not be easy, but they’ve shown themselves more than capable.
To make matters all the more exciting next week, there are two episodes airing instead of one. Be sure to set your schedule or DVR accordingly. Below are the synopses for the two separate episodes.
Season 2 episode 12, “Behind the Mask” – “Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) helps Nava (Gino Anthony Pesi) cover his tracks after a violent encounter, revealing a side of herself Nava’s never seen before and putting their relationship in jeopardy. Wozniak (Ray Liotta) faces a ghost from his past in order to take down a new enemy in his present. Stahl (Warren Kole) gets a critical piece of information in his hunt for the truth about Miguel.”
Season 2 finale, “Broken Dolls” – “In a dramatic confrontation, Wozniak (Ray Liotta) faces the ally who betrayed him and makes his most difficult choice yet. Meanwhile, Stahl’s (Warren Kole) fanatical plan to take Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) down for murder finally pays off, forcing Harlee to get dangerously close to the man who’s obsessed with her In the end, Harlee and Wozniak’s desperate efforts to save themselves and the crew lead to shocking consequences for both.”
Given that there is a season 3 renewal already on tap, there is no need for worry there. Enjoy the story and all of the juicy twists as they are, and get ready for a combination of screams, tears, and questions. This show sends you on a rollercoaster ride. One other thing to remember for Harlee and Wozniak is that even though their survival odds are high, there are plenty of other terrible things that could happen to them. They’re not immune from pain or suffering.
